You will visit the Egyptian Museum first where you will get a guided tour of the best areas then some free time to explore yourselves. After this you will be taken to have lunch with the opportunity to see the river Nile. Then you will make a stop at a perfume shop, where they produce many different scents and beautiful perfume bottles.
Following this you will then visit the Pyramids of Giza, and the Sphinx, which are two of the best-known monuments in Egypt. You will have time to explore the plateau where the pyramids stand and also enter the pyramids (at an extra local charge). Then you will be taken to the Papyrus Institute, where you will learn how papyrus is made and have the opportunity to purchase some if you desire. You will then be taken to your hotel in Cairo.
On the second day you will be collected at 09:00am to visit the citadel of Saladin, which is a fortification in Cairo.  The location of the Citadel is part of the Muqattam hill near the centre of Cairo, which was once famous for its fresh breeze and grand views of the city.
You will then have lunch followed by a walk through Khan El Khalili Street. You could ask yourself how a market in Egypt is responsible for the founding of the United States? Khan el-Khalili, once known as the Turkish bazaar during the Ottoman period, is now usually just called the ‘Khan’, and the names of it and the Muski market are often used interchangeably to mean either.  This is an experience you will find unforgettable.
You will be returned to Cairo airport in time to fly back to Sharm el Sheikh where you will be collected from the airport and returned to your hotel.

Cairo Highlights

Cairo is the capital of Egypt and the largest city in the Arab world and Africa. It has long served as the cultural, political and social capital of the Middle East. Home to one of the oldest and richest civilizations in the world, Cairo is unique with its ancient monuments and historical landmarks that date back thousands of years, from the Great Pyramids to Al Azhar University and the Hanging Church.

Khan El Khalili in Cairo, Egypt was named and built by the Emir Djaharks El Khalili in the heart of the Fatimid City. This area was known for its Caravansary. The Caravansary is a rest house with storage rooms that surround a courtyard for horses and camels and the merchants slept upstairs. The Caravansary is still standing on Sikka Khan El Khalili and Badestan. The market was built in 1382 and quickly became a major trade center.

Citadel and Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha certainly not one of the most ancient mosques in Cairo, nor even one of the most historic, because of its grandeur and its location in the Citadel, the Mosque of Muhammad Ali is the most popular Islamic mosque among tourists. This mosque is also sometimes referred to as the Alabaster Mosque due to its extensive use of that stone on some of the exterior walls and other surfaces. Sometimes it is popularly known as al-qal'a, meaning citadel

Egyptian Museum in Cairo contains the world's most extensive collection of pharaonic antiquities; no visit to Egypt is complete without a trip through its galleries. The original collection was established in the late 19th century under Auguste Mariette and housed in Boulaq.

Saqqara is a very large and ancient site. Dominated by the step pyramid of Netjerykhet Djoser, the first monumental stone structure in human history. There are 16 known pyramids at Saqqara, the most of any site in Egypt. Pyramids from 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th dynasties can be found here.

Cairo & LuxorBy Plane From Sharm 2 Days Trip

On the first day you will be picked up from your hotel in Sharm by an air-conditioned vehicle at approximately 6.15 and taken to Sharm El Sheikh Airport where you will board your plane to fly to Cairo.  The flight takes approximately 50 minutes. Once you have arrived, you will be met by our Egyptologist guide who will accompany you for the day.
On the second day we collect you (with your breakfast box) at about 6am and take you to Cairo Airport.  The flight is approximately 50 minutes and upon arrival our English speaking Egyptologist guide will meet you. You will begin this magical day with a visit to the Valley of the Kings. You can go into Tutankhamun’s tomb but there is a local charge for this, which is worth the money.
You will go onto Hatshepsut temple. Pharaoh Hatshepsut enjoyed a peaceful and prosperous reign. She built magnificent temples, protected Egypt’s borders and masterminded a highly profitable trading mission to the mysterious land of Punt. She should have been feted as one of the most successful of the 18th Dynasty kings. You will then be taken to a local restaurant for lunch.
Followed by a visit to the Karnak temples. Karnak comprises a vast conglomeration of ruined temples, chapels, pylons and other buildings, notably the Great Temple of Amen and a massive structure begun by Pharaoh Amenhotep III (ca. 1391-1351 BC). The last part of your trip includes shopping in Luxor.
We will then transfer you back to Luxor airport for a 45-minute flight back to Sharm.  Our local guide will meet you and return you to your hotel where you can reminisce on your trip.
